How Does LabStats Work?

LabStats was specifically designed to be easy to use and quick to set up. After only a few steps, you will be up and running with the stats pouring in.

Step One

Install the server software with our streamlined installer.

Step Two

Log in to LabStats and choose the appropriate client installers for your network.

Step Three

Define your computer labs using our web-based administration utility.

Step Four

You're Done!

Once LabStats is installed, the Client Agents send tiny bits of usage information to the Server Agent, which it stores in the database. The Server Agent uses this data to record snapshots of usage per lab, which are also stored in the database. Once those snapshots are stored, users can view real-time graphs in a web browser. You can even display the graphs on your own school website by calling them with an <img> tag!
