UserTracker works hand in hand with LabStats to bring you even more vital information about your computer labs, and how they are being used. Read on for a description of the major UserTracker components and screenshots of each one.
In the Web Admin component of LabStats, a new page is listed for UserTracker. This page is the launching point for an administrator and can be used to query and view all of the UserTracker data. Because much of this UserTracker data is sensitive, this page is accessible only through the password-protected Web Admin site. |

| Here you can query the login history for any user, any computer, or both. This flexible query allows you to specify an entire lab, enter part of a username, and even enter a custom date range down to the second. The output of this query is shown in the format pictured below. Each login is tied to a logout, and is considered a session. |

UserTracker automatically grabs the usernames as people log in, so there's no need to import or enter your entire user directory. You can view the list of known users at any time, and from there you can click on any user to see an entire login history for that user.
Did you ever wonder how many students actually use their accounts? This is the page to find out. |

| Where LabStats tracks usage with snapshots, UserTracker looks at logins to give you usage information. Since logins are counts, we chose bar charts to represent usage data. With our query-building tools, you have the flexibility to view the login data almost any way you want. Here is a snapshot of the query builder graphing logins on a single computer, and a sample bar chart. |
